Jaemin, from Seongnam, Korea says “I like trumpet because when I play it I can feel the energy from it.” Park grew up listening to classical music as his mother was the principal flute in the Cheongju City Symphony Orchestra. He started to learn trumpet after he joined the orchestra in elementary school. He enrolled in the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts in 2016 and that same year he passed an audition for the Baty Brass Academy _바티 브라스 아카데미 which was sponsored by the 서울시립교향악단 Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. He is currently a student of Alexandre Baty. Jaemin graduated elementary school in March 2018 and entered the Yewon School, which is Korea’s first middle school dedicated to the arts.
