Odinstov graduated from the Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Music and Theatre in 2011. He is currently principal trumpet of the Siberian State Symphony Orchestra in Krasnoyarsk.

Odinstov is a laureate of the Krasnoyarsk International Competition in years 2007 and 2011. He is also a laureate of the 2005 International Competition of Vladivostok City. He has been awarded a letter of thanks from the Krasnoyarsk Region Ministry of Culture. He is also a 2017 laureate of an award from the head of the City of Krasnoyarsk.

Additionally, Odinstov was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Region. In 2018, he made solo performance appearances with the Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra and the Siberian State Symphony Orchestra performing Haydn and Neruda.
